PTSD Foundation of America
Christ Church is committed to being For Our City through partnerships with local organizations and ministries. This is why we have partnered with the PTSD Foundation of America.
The invisible wounds of war are real and lead over 20 veterans a day to take their lives. Our community is comprised of hundreds of veterans who are dealing with the difficulty and destruction of war; often alone.
This is why we are proud to be partnered with the PTSD Foundation of America, who is seeking to bring gospel hope and healing to veterans and their families dealing with the symptoms of PTSD.
Every Tuesday evening from 6:30 - 8:00PM, Christ Church hosts a Warrior Group for combat veterans and their families.
Warrior Groups are fellowships for combat veterans and their families to share their experiences and testimonies as they offer one another hope and healing.
Our Warrior Group Coordinator is Marselis Nelson, a former combat veteran who has a deep passion for those in our community struggling with the effects of PTSD.
Free childcare and a meal are provided at each weeks gathering.
A STORY OF HOPE
